The server RAID controller is a LSI 9271-8i RAID card. The MegaRAID BIOS Configuration Utility did not start. I have been trying to connect a ESXi server containing an LSI 9271-8i SAS RAID card with LSIs MegaRAID Storage Manager (MSM) without success. I also hit the Ctrl-H when the LSI MegaRAID startup told me to do so.

The USB keyboard may be part of the problem according to LSI.ģ. The LSI utilities have help documentation for more information about using the utilities. As soon as the initial splash screen showed when I started the computer I pushed the F8 key on my USB keyboard. As I have an Asus Sabertooth X79 motherboard I used your suggested F8 key.Ģ. Unfortunately I had not associated the change to the UEFI boot with my inability to access the MegaRAID BIOS Configuration Utility.ġ. Gary this was a very helpful tip as I had not been able to get to the MegaRAID BIOS Configuration Utility since I changed my motherboard to use the UEFI boot.
